Weddings at WinMock
Where two families become one.
A place of first looks and families.
A deep history of friendship can be felt in the grass here, and warm memories linger in the buildings. Our team goes above and beyond so your day runs as smoothly as your first dance. We will be as involved as you want us to be.
Cooperative catering
Agreements with the most recommended caterers in North Carolina, so the meal is as memorable as the day.
Your aesthetic
However you picture the room, we adapt the space to it: draping, lighting, tabletops and layout.
Room for everyone
The Granary for an intimate wedding, the Loft for hundreds, plus terraces, a Bridal Suite and a Groom’s Lounge.
From the first look to the last dance.

Morning
Getting ready
The Bridal Suite with its lit vanity wall, and the Groom’s Lounge steps from the Main Barn.

Afternoon
The ceremony
On the round terrace under the oaks, or inside the Loft when the sky has other plans. Every ceremony has a rain plan.

Golden hour
Cocktails and portraits
Guests mingle in the Davie & Forsyth Rooms and out on the terraces while you slip away to the willow and the white barn.

Evening
Dinner and dancing
Long tables under the Loft’s 32-foot beams and chandeliers, then a send-off with bubbles or ribbon wands.
Hands-on, or leave it to us.

“I wish I could get married at WinMock every weekend! From the very beginning the team was so organized, attentive to details, and had great communication. The food and bar service ran flawlessly.”
“From the first phone call to the wedding day I never had a bad experience. I had absolutely no anxiety the day of my wedding because WinMock proved to me over my time of planning that they only offer superior service.”
“The most beautiful and grand venue we, and our guests, had ever seen. It went beyond our dreams and we would get married there again and again!”
When do we pay, and is there a deposit?
Your first payment, which depends on the package and venue, and a $500 refundable deposit are due when you return your signed contract. That makes your date official. Your payment schedule is on the first page of your contract.
Do we have to use your caterers? Can we bring our own food?
Saturday events in the Main Barn use our in-house catering partnership. À la carte events are allowed on Fridays and Sundays with a caterer from our approved list; additional fees apply. In The Granary you can use an approved caterer or self-cater, as long as there are no flames or chafers.
Do we need a day-of coordinator?
Since April 15, 2024 we require a licensed and insured day-of planner or coordinator. We have a list of planners who know the property well. Our own venue staff greet guests, keep the venue in prime condition and handle janitorial service.
Is a rehearsal included?
A two-hour rehearsal is included free. It is not guaranteed to be the night before or in the same ceremony space; we confirm the day and time two weeks before the wedding.
What can we use for our exit?
Bubbles, water-soluble confetti, glow sticks and ribbon wands are welcome. Sparklers and loose streamers are not allowed.
Can our dog be part of the day?
Yes. Dogs stay leashed, waste is picked up, and vaccination records are due 30 days before the event. A person who is not a guest brings the dog and takes it home after photos or the ceremony.

Come walk the grounds.
